About the role
You will research and develop methods to ensure AI systems are safe, aligned with human values, and robust against adversarial attacks. Design evaluation frameworks for healthcare AI systems and collaborate with the broader team to implement safety measures throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI Safety, or related field • Experience in AI alignment research • Strong background in machine learning • Publications in AI safety or related areas • Ability to translate theoretical safety concepts into practical implementations.

Interview process

Our team will review your application within one week of receipt. If your application passes this initial screening, you'll be invited to a 30-minute phone interview where a team member will ask basic questions to get to know you. Candidates who successfully complete the phone interview will proceed to the main selection process, which consists of three stages:
1. Problem solving: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problem-solving session.
2. Walkthrough: Deep-dive into your past work.
3. Final coversational interview with CEO
Our goal is to finish the main process within one week. All interviews will be conducted via Google Meet. Decisions and offers will be provided within 2 weeks of finishing main process.
Compensation
$170k-420k + Offers Equity
