Own the technical security and privacy architecture for a medical AI system operating on extremely sensitive data. This role helps define what trustworthy deployment looks like from day one.
Responsibilities
- •Lead security engineering across infrastructure, product, and internal systems
- •Design controls for data protection, logging, access management, encryption, and secure development workflows
- •Partner with legal and clinical teams on HIPAA-grade compliance architecture and operating processes
- •Drive incident readiness, threat modeling, and privacy reviews for new product launches
- •Establish the company’s security baseline before scale makes bad habits permanent
Requirements
- •Strong experience in product security, cloud security, or security engineering
- •Ability to work across code, architecture, policy, and operational practice
- •Experience in regulated environments or highly sensitive data domains
- •Clear communication and strong execution in fast-moving organizations
- •Comfort building foundations rather than inheriting mature systems
