Build the user identity, access, permissions, and consent systems that make a lifelong healthcare network possible. This role sits at the center of privacy, trust, and operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- •Design identity, account, authorization, and consent management systems for patients and care teams
- •Build secure audit trails and fine-grained permissioning for sensitive medical workflows
- •Partner with security, legal, and product teams on privacy-by-design architecture
- •Support enrollment, recovery, delegation, and family or caregiver access patterns
- •Ensure identity systems remain understandable and usable despite high regulatory complexity
Requirements
- •Strong backend or platform engineering experience
- •Experience building identity, auth, or access-control systems
- •Good judgment around security, privacy, and product usability tradeoffs
- •Ability to design systems for long-term extensibility and trust
- •Familiarity with consent or compliance workflows is a plus
